Dr Bonita Pradhan, Department of Political Science, FHSSLA was invited by the Department of Psychology, Sikkim Central University, for a special lecture on 12th April, 2024. She delivered a lecture in the Lecture Theatre to the Psychology students in the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programme. The faculty members from the Department of Psychology as well as the Department of Education were present. Prof. Snehlata Jaswal, Head of Department, Psychology facilitated the guest. Dr Pradhan delivered a lecture on "Psychology, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity", where she delved into the interlinkages of LGBTQ identities with social science disciplines with a focus on Psychology. This was followed by a very lively interactive section with the faculty members and students.
