The special session on Opportunities as Banking Professionals was successfully conducted on 13.01.2024 at Lecture Hall III, Level V, SMIMS Building and it was a highly enriching and insightful event organized by the placement cell under the Faculty Of Humanities, Social Sciences & Liberal Arts, SMU. The objective of the interactive session was to provide in-depth insights into the emerging trends and scopes in the field of banking professions in India.
The event featured an esteemed resource person, Mr. Sunny John, Heading the Faculty Development Initiative and Quality Training at Manipal Academy of Banking, Financial Services & Insurance, (MABFSI) Bangalore. Mr. Sunny John brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the lecture, making it a valuable opportunity for the attendees to learn.
The event witnessed a robust turnout, with the participants of the final year BCom & MCom students of FHSSLA, SMU. The diverse audience contributed to a vibrant atmosphere, fostering engagement and interactive discussions. Dr. Madan Chhetri, Coordinator, FHSSLA, SMU delivered the welcome address, followed by the enriching lecture session by the esteemed guest Mr. Sunny John and vote of thanks by Dr. Aditya Rai. Mr. Sumeet Agarwal, heading the placement cell coordinating the arrangement of the students' attendance.
