  • The NSS unit of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sikkim Manipal University observed the World AIDS day on 1st December 2022. Red Ribbon badges were distributed among the faculties, staff, and students to create awareness about AIDS.
  • Apart from that, an awareness session was organized for the faculties and students wherein causes, effects, remedies and stigmas associated with this fatal disease were highlighted upon. Deputy Registrar, SMU; Convenor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sikkim Manipal University, faculty members, students and NSS volunteers took part in the event
