SMU POETRY CONTEST 2020 CONCLUDES

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sikkim Manipal University organized SMU Poetry Contest 2020 in collaboration with AS Presentations and Wandering Souls of Sikkim as Media Partners with a vision to motivate and inspire the poets of Sikkim, other states of North-East and West Bengal. Prof. (Dr) Karma Sonam Sherpa, Registrar, SMU, and Mr. Madan Chettri, Coordinator, DHSS were the chief patrons for the event. There were cash prizes along with
E-Certificates for winners and participants. Mr. Neema Tamang, Kiran Bhandari, and Geeta Sharma secured the first, second, and third positions respectively. Dr. Rosy Chamling, Head, Department of English, Sikkim University, and Mr. Prayash Gupta, Assistant Professor, SMU were the judges for the event.
