Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing (SMCON) is one of the constituent colleges of Sikkim Manipal University. SMCON is established in 2001 for imparting four year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) Degree Programme. The Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) post graduate programme of two year duration is introduced since 2016 with all major five nursing specializations. Both the programmes are recognized by the regulatory authorities for nursing education in India. Degrees are awarded by the Sikkim Manipal University. The annual intake capacity is 100 for B.Sc. Nursing and 25 for M.Sc. Nursing programme. Students from all over the country are eligible to take admission in these programmes.

Most of students of SMCON are placed in Central Referral Hospital Sikkim. Also Manipal College of Nursing receives requests from various reputed organizations for placements of the SMCON graduates eg. Apollo group, Tata Cancer Centre, Neotia Health care (Ambuja group), Narayana Hrudayalaya (Devi Shetty) etc.
