Overview
The Department of Laboratory Medicine Functions in the Level 3 of Central Referral Hospital, Tadong, Gangtok. and provides 24 hour services to Hospital Admitted Patients, Hospital OPD Patients and Also Patients coming only for Laboratory services as prescribed by outside doctors and medical establishments.
The department comprises of a team of physicians, technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure early collection, appropriate testing and timely reporting of the tests.

SERVICES
- 24 hours laboratory services for indoor and casualty patients of CRH
- 8AM to 4PM Collection Center open for Collection of OPD cases and Cases from outside.
- Reporting time for Hospital Indoor and Casualty STAT tests are 24 hour
- Reporting for OPD and Outside cases Collected between 8AM to 12Noon at 2PM Rest at 5PM
- Consultative services to physicians in cases of clinico-pathologic issues is available.
- Some tests not financially viable in Sikkim are collected in collection center and outsourced there reporting Contact Person Mr Pemba Sherpa.
