The Department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2001, as a unit of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. It was bifurcated from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2014 to form a separate department. The department provides graduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Applications (Bachelor in Computer Applicationand Master in Computer Application). The department also offers Doctoral programs in diversified areas of Computer Science and its applications.
VISION
The department aims to be recognized globally as center of excellence for providing outstanding education and training in the applications of computer and computing system and thereby contribute to the development of the nation and society globally.
