The Ministry of Education, through a letter dated November 26, 2024, referenced D.O. letter No. 138/2020-WW Part (1) dated November 18, 2024, from the Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), emphasized that child marriage represents one of the gravest violations of human rights. In response to this initiative, 82 students, along with  10  faculty members, actively participated in taking a pledge to work towards eradicating child marriage in their community. Their commitment marks a significant step towards building a child marriage-free India.
