Overview
MSc Medical Biotechnology program at SMIMS SMU is a 2-year program that offers specialisation in the field of biotechnology. The program offers understanding of medical science at a molecular level and the diagnosis and treatment of diseases due to genetic manipulation.
The objective of the program is to train students in medical biotechnology in a way that they can act as resource persons, perform research in the heath sector, and develop the skills and attitude for critical evaluation of the problems of medical sciences.

ELIGIBILITY
- The student must have passed B. Sc in Biotechnology / other biological sciences including Life science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Physiology/ Genetics/Bioinformatics or any related branch of life sciences with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC / ST / OBC category).
