- The Department of Respiratory Medicine was first started in 2001
- Respiratory Medicine Department is first in the state to give Bronchoscopy Services, which helps in diagnosis of Lung Cancer, Tuberculosis etc.
- The Department is well equipped with modern technology and also has Spirometry for diagnosing airway disease.
- 15 bedded Respiratory unit with central Oxygen supply and continuous monitoring facilities.
