A special lecture session on the Orientation on Research Activities was held on 06.05.2024 at Lecture Hall of FHSSLA, Sikkim Manipal University. It was a highly enriching and insightful event organized with the presence of the resource person Professor (Dr.) Kalpana Sharma, Director, DoR, Sikkim Manipal University along with Professor (Dr.) KS Sherpa, Registrar, SMU.
The objectives of the lecture were to address the issues on the following:
- To provide a platform where faculty members could interact, seek advice and gain valuable insights on research.
- Awareness on various Research Incentives/funds and grants available at SMU and publication strategies.
- Awareness on the Pre-Publication Review Committee, Student representation in research, Mentor Mentee Scheme, interdisciplinary project in collaboration with Manipal Group Universities.
