Dept. of ECE, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology recently hosted a dynamic and inspiring alumni interaction event that brought together students and distinguished graduates for an unforgettable exchange of knowledge and experiences.
The event, held on 3rd Oct 2023, was coordinated by Electronics and Communication Students Association (ECSA) where the distinguished alumnus of ECE, Mr. Ashish Mishra who completed his B.Tech in ECE from SMIT in the year 2008 was the keynote speaker.
Highlights of the Event:
- Mr. Ashish Mishra talked about his journey from SMIT to Vodafone as a Communication Engineer, and then to ISRO as Scientist.
- He talked about how he got adapted to new technologies in ISRO.
- He explained the scope of Electronics and Communication Engineering in ISRO.
He encouraged and motivated the students to dream big and work for the prosperity of the nation. He also highlighted the major steps taken by govt. of India in the field of electronics
with a strong assurance of bright future of Electronics and Communication Engineering students.
