Alumnus Mr. Sudip Nath, interacted with students of department of Information Technology on 30th September 2023 from 03:00pm IST onwards in virtual mode. Mr. Sudip is a 2008 passout, B.Tech.(IT) alumnus. He had done his Master of Science in Distributed Systems Engineering from Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany in 2013. He has ten years of professional experience in the field of IT. He specializes in backend software components: software, database, distributed systems.
Mr. Sudip shared his valuable thoughts and experiences of his journey after college. The interaction was a very fruitful one, which benefitted students by giving them an understanding of the projects, work environment in Mercedes Benz and other IT companies in Germany. He stressed upon the skills required by students in IT companies, and informed them that they should always try to apply what they have learnt in their curriculum. This interaction triggered in students the zeal to give their best in whatever they do. At the end, the alumnus invited question from students through mentimeter.com, and also shared his LinkedIn contact details and suggested students to develop fluency in programming languages using https://exercism.org/ -- a very effective free, online tool.
