On September 17, 2023, a momentous occasion unfolded as we celebrated the 88th birthday of the venerable Dr. Ramdas M Pai, a distinguished founder and visionary. The Founders' Day celebration was a reflection of his enduring legacy and contributions to society.
The festivities commenced with the inauguration of a Blood Donation Camp and Eye Check-Up organized by Forum@2K, Student body, Department of Information Technology, emblematic of Dr. Pai's unwavering commitment to healthcare and well-being. It was a powerful reminder of his dedication to serving the community.
The event formally began at 11:30 AM at Marena Basketball Court.
Addresses by the Associate Director (Student Affairs), Prof. Dr. AP Tiwary and Associate Director (Academics), Prof. Dr. Sangeeta Jha served as a reminder of Dr. Pai's profound impact on education and his relentless pursuit of excellence. This was followed with the Cake Cutting ceremony, representing the joy and sweetness that Dr. Pai has brought into countless lives through his vision and leadership.
Later address by our respected Director, Prof. Dr. GL Sharma Sir, highlighted the enduring legacy of Dr. Pai and his pivotal role in shaping the institution.
The program culminated with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Aridip Chatterjee, General Secretary, Student Council.
