The much-awaited SMIT open futsal tournament (for men) took place from September 11th to September 16th, 2023, with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The tournament required each team to send six players, all of whom had to be SMIT students. A total of 16 teams registered for the tournament and the matches were played with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The final match of the tournament was a thrilling match between BBA 3rd Year and Tiki Taka, with both teams giving their all to win. In the end, Tiki Taka emerged victorious, with their players exhibiting excellent teamwork and skill.
The tournament's best player was Shirshak Bhakta Shrestha, a 4th-year student from the department of CSE, whose exceptional performance on the field impressed everyone. His agility, speed, and precision made him stand out from the rest.
Finally, the SMIT open futsal tournament was a resounding success, and it gave young, talented players an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and love for the sport.
