The SMIT Open Table-Tennis singles Competition for open men started on September 7th, 2023 and ended on September 9th, 2023. Each SMIT department was asked to send at least 4 players to participate in the competition. A total of 17 players registered for the event. The final match was played between Aagansang Rai from the Department of MBA (Management) and Prantar Jyoti Bharadwaj from the Department of M.E. In the end, Aagansang Rai from the Department of MBA (Management) emerged as the winner of the competition.
The SMIT Open Table-Tennis Doubles Competition for open men also took place, and the final match was played between Prantar Jyoti Bharadwaj and Ashutush Kashyap from the Department of ME, and Aagansang Rai from the Department of MBA (Management) and Vaibhav Chetri from the Department of CSE. In the end, Aagansang Rai from the Department of MBA (Management) and Vaibhav Chetri from the Department of CSE won the competition. Best Player: Aagansang Rai from the Department of MBA (Management), 2nd year student.
