IIC, E-Cell, SMIT successfully conducted the annual Council Meeting for the year 2023-24.
The Agendas for the meeting were:
- Review of work successfully conducted and impact generated during the year 2022-23.
- Formation of Council for the year 2023-24.
- Launch of SIH and conduction of SIH Prelims within the Institution.
- Interaction with IIC-SMIT members regarding the IIC Initiative.
The event was started off by a brief note by Dr. Krishna Vijay Singh, Convenor, IIC-SMIT, followed by a detailed speech by Dr. Bikash Sharma discussing the journey of IIC-SMIT in the five years since formation. The efforts taken by the faculty and students were discussed in detail along with a formative plan for the 2023-24 session. The impact of Smart India Hackathon 2022 had throughout the institute as well as pan-India was spoken about. The meeting was concluded with a speech by student co-ordinators Yash Jha and Bodhisattva Das on their experience as co-ordinators during the 2022-23 session and the plans and expectations for 2023-24 from a student perspective.
