A one-day sensitization program on the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) was organized by Group C, formed by the Director of SMIT, in reference to circular Ref: SMIT/Dir Corr/24/2023 dated March 2023. The program specifically targeted the faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) departments. A total of 16 faculty members attended the program, which focused on various key topics outlined in NEP 2020. These topics included the New Vision for India's Higher Education System, Guiding Principles of NEP 2020, Equitable and Inclusive Education, Re-Imaging Vocational Education, and Reforms in Higher Education. Resource materials such as PowerPoint presentations, PDF documents, and assignments were provided to all participants for future reference. The coordinator of the event also encouraged the participants to further enhance their understanding of different aspects of NEP 2020. Notably, the members of Group C, namely Chitrapriya N, Saurabh Sharma, and Vikash Kumar Singh, were present during the program. During the sensitization program on NEP 2020, several glimpses of the event were captured. These can be seen in Figure 1 and Figure 2, which showcase key moments and activities from the program.
