BRIEF DESCRIPTION/REPORT:
The session titled "Kickstarting Your Research Journey: A Step-by-Step Roadmap for Students" was successfully conducted on 24th February 2025 at 5:30 PM in the Seminar Hall, SMIT. The session was organized by the Student Research Forum (SRF) in collaboration with ATRIUM (Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science).
The event began with an opening speech by Pritika Biswas, a member of the Executive Board, who welcomed the attendees and set the tone for the session.
The guest speaker, Dr. Om Prakash Singh, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at SMIT, delivered an engaging and informative session. He shared his expertise in AI, Signal Processing, and Research Methodologies, guiding students on how to systematically approach research.
The session was highly interactive, with active participation from students and engaging discussions with faculty members. A vote of thanks was delivered by Suhani Terway, a department official, expressing gratitude to Dr. Singh and all enthusiastic participants.
The event successfully motivated students to embark on their research journeys, equipping them with the foundational knowledge required to excel in academics and beyond.
