BRIEF DESCRIPTION/REPORT:
The Department of Management Studies, in collaboration with the Student Research Forum (SRF), SMIT, successfully organized a seminar talk on “Sampling Design & Basic Statistical Tools for Research” on March 19, 2025, at the Seminar Hall, SMIT.
The session was conducted by Dr. D. Rajan, a distinguished scholar with vast academic and industry experience. The event began with a felicitation led by Dr. Kalpana Panigrahi, SRF Faculty representative, and Dr. Anindita Adhikary, Professor, Department of Management Studies.
Key Topics Explored:
- Research Methodologies: Understanding systematic research approaches.
- Sampling Techniques: Importance of accurate sampling in research.
- Fundamental Statistical Tools: Application of statistical methods in data analysis.
