Dr. K. Ramnarayan, Pro-Chancellor of
Sikkim Manipal University (SMU), visited the Centre for Distance and Online
Education (CDOE) on the 2nd of April 2025 at 10:00 AM. He was warmly welcomed
by the CDOE team with a traditional khada, marking the beginning of his visit
with a gesture of respect and goodwill.
During his visit, Dr. Ramnarayan interacted with the faculty and
administrative staff members of CDOE. He took a keen interest in understanding
the ongoing academic and administrative activities of the Centre. His
encouraging words and insights motivated the team to continue striving for
excellence and to expand their efforts in the field of online education.
Dr. Ramnarayan also visited the CDOE Studio, where he observed the
technical infrastructure and ongoing media development activities. He
interacted with the team members and expressed immense joy and appreciation for
the progress and growth of the Centre.
The visit concluded on a highly positive note, leaving the CDOE
community inspired and encouraged to flourish further in their mission.
